- The Lodenwelt in Vintl/ Vandoies helps you understand how Loden is made out of sheep’s‘ wool.
- Reindeers are not only at home in the very north of Europe, but also at the Rotwand/ Croda Rossa mountain in Sexten/Sesto.
- The ‘Sexten Mountain Sundial‘ is a natural spectacle formed by the Dolomite peaks of Neuner, Zehner, Elfer, Zwolfer and Einser (lit: ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth and first = mountain names). The sun shines upon these summits exactly at the right time.
- Ötzi, the 5,000 year old glacier mummy can be admired at the Archaeological Museum in Bozen/Bolzano. Nearby are also the MMM-Messner Mountain Museum Firmian, the famous Bozen/Bolzano fruit market, the ‘Lauben‘ porticos, the Museum for Modern Art and the Waltherplatz.
